Veena Seshanna portrait for Music Academy

A book, COMPOSITIONS of VEENA SESHANNA (Transliterated into Tamil with Notation), published by the Music Academy, was officially released during the Academic Session on the penultimate day of the 85th Music Conference of the Music Academy, Chennai. A portrait of Veena Seshanna was presented to the Music Academy, by his grandson Mysore V. Subramanya. It was received by Music Academy President N. Murali. Trichy Sankaran, President of the Music Conference, and Pappu Venugopala Rao, Secretary, Music Academy, were also present on the occasion.

  2. Music in its original format has not been able to made to reach the average Indians.It needs to be induced into school curriculum.It appears to be a form of education that only the elite can afford.
